Apparently, this nudibranch is one of the most commonly sighted aeolids in Hawaii.  That’s not been my personal experience. I had to fly half way around the world to see one.   So two of the images seen here are from Molokini, Maui and the rest are from a mucky, swirly, high current area near Manado, Indonesia. They are incredibly curious looking creatures and worth staring at forever. Like real dragons, they have the curious ability to automatize their posterior (and grow it back).  They can also zap their predators with a sting strong enough to be felt by humans!!  Read more on Sea Slugs of Hawaii.  Truly worth it!  To 8 inches or 216 mm???
