These little Bi-colour Gymnodorises were all found in a few feet of water wandering about the algae and rocks of a traditional fishpond. At first they appear to be nothing but small orange or yellow elongate blobs (they come in cream and pink too!) but on close inspection they are quite beautiful, with horseshoe-shaped branchial gills, small orange dots, and broad oral tentacles –their face is almost clown-like in appearance.  See Sea Slugs of Hawaii for more details regarding their similarity to Gymnodoris Sp#1 and Gymnodoris citrina (a nasty canibalistic relative!)    Less than inch, or 22 mm maximum.
