ABOUT MARINE LIFE ET CETERA: This site is a constant work in progress, as it reflects daily discoveries and events that pertain to my life as a shallow free diver, snorkeler, photographer, videographer and researcher/post-academic. Please enjoy what's here as I work on categorizing the nudibranchs, and various other sea slugs (main priority obviously!), jellies, fish, mammals, turtles and other invertebrates I encounter on the west coast of British Columbia, Maui & Big Island, Hawaii, Indonesia and . . . up and coming . . . Bohol Island in the Philippines! I am not a Marine Biologist, but I am a devoted citizen scientist who relies heavily on experts in the field.
