Stripeys are often mistaken for Butterflyfish, but they are in a category of their own — more closely related to Chubs than anything else.   Snorkelers rarely get the treat of seeing these fish as they prefer murky lagoons, harbours and fishponds (often very murky and full of unpredictable surge).  Below you will find a video as well as an image that will link you to more still photos in the Stripey Gallery.
